Alex Skladanowski, Alpine Race Academy Coach

Alex started ski racing with Loveland when he was 8 years old.  During high school, he also swam for the Recreation Center’s competitive club team and played in a number of tennis tournaments as an independent.  His senior year of high school he ski raced for the varsity high school team where he qualified for state in GS and SL.  After high school, he stopped playing competitive sports to focus on his education.  Alex currently attends the University of Colorado at Boulder where he is pursuing a B.A degree in Philosophy with a minor in Spanish, graduating in May 2015.  He joined LSC as a coach for the U14’s in January and is really happy to be back involved with ski racing in the club he grew up with.  Two of the other U14 coaches, Kyle Knaeble and Celia Ferguson, have been Alex’s friends and teammates since they were little and he is excited to get to work with them as well.  Go LSC!

Our flagship program.  The Academy’s motto is Quality, Culture, Character, and that is evident throughout all aspects of what we do.  Private training venues.  Year-round strength and conditioning.  Never worse than 6-1 athlete to coach ratio.  We have a unique setting that allows an athlete to live in their own family home, attend their own school and still enjoy the all-important access to world-class training.  This allows each athlete to achieve personalized attention and achieve their personal best.
